Facebook, then you know that I posted 7 Ways to Ignite Fat Burning in my comments. Here is more detailed information on those 7 tips:
1.
eat 5-6 small meals per day: you need to eat 5 - 6 small meals per day because doing this revs up your metabolism. Imagine a camp fire. You need 2 things right? Wood and fire. Well once the fire gets roaring, you will eventually need to add more wood to the fire to keep it going. The same principle applies to metabolism. You must add fuel (food) to the fire (metabolism) to keep the fire roaring.
2.
drink at least 128 oz of H20 per day: Water is a major force in nature is packs a ton of power. It also does great things within our body. Hydration is key to fat burning for many reasons. The main reason is because your vital organs do not function properly without it. If your organs don't function properly, then fat burning slows down. This is simply because your body is trying to protect itself from illness. It does this by way of fat storage.
3.
take an Omega 3 supplement: Omega 3's have fatty acids. Fatty acids have been proven to increase fat utilization, hence increase fat metabolism.
4.
do cardio first thing in the morning for a 20 minute interval:
ok, so first thing in the morning, your body is a calorie burning machine because you haven't eaten in hours. I have found that doing a 20 minute routine including interval training (i.e. 2 minutes fast, 1 minute slow, etc.) really increases fat burning ability and this coupled with the morning calorie burning effect is sure to help you drop some extra fat pounds.
5.
do a workout that targets larger muscle groups such as legs or back: the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn. Therefore sculpting these larger muscle groups ignites your fat burning capability faster than smaller muscles.
6.
eat lean protein sources at every meal such as fish, yogurt or nuts: basically stay away from crappy protein such as fried chicken and replace it with boneless, skinless grilled chicken.

cheat 1 day per week: this is IMPORTANT! Eating clean all week has its obvious benefits. However, cheating one day per week does as well. Remember, the body can adapt to anything...ANYTHING! So it can adapt to eating healthy as well. Eating clean all the time causes the body to think that it might be going into a type of famine. It will then release a chemical that will actually cause you to retain fat. Most of us experience this as a plateau. The key is to eat one meal per week that you love (i.e. pizza or a burger). This will keep the body from retaining fat and actually increase your results. TRUST ME!
